Take Advantage of Your Company's Matching Gift Program
Matching gift programs are charitable giving programs set up by corporations in which the company matches donations made by employees. For example, if a donor works for XYZ Corporation and donates $500 to L.I.F.E, XYZ Corporation will double the donation by also writing a check for $500 to L.I.F.E.
Matching gift programs are offered by companies across the world. In fact, about 65% of Fortune 500 companies (and many others) match employee donations. That means millions of individuals work for companies that match donations from employees.
Using a matching gift program is easy. Simply follow the steps below:
Make a donation to L.I.F.E.
Find out if your employer or your spouse’s employer offers a matching gift program.
Locate and submit the 'matching gift form' provided by the employer.
Once L.I.F.E receives the matching gift form, they will verify your donation and submit the form back to the company.

Said to bring good luck and fortune to the happy couple, instead of buying favors for guests, the bride and groom take that money and donate it on behalf of L.I.F.E. What better way to honor someone whose life has been touched by lupus? Gifts can be made to recognize a courageous individual battling lupus or to remember the life of someone who has lost their battle with this disease. Donations can be in the form of a general donation or as a sponsored scholarship.
